Certainly not a movement, but a structure that allows for movement within it. A container that allows for liquidity as well as solidarity… gently presenting a safe haven for sensitive freaks and death-defying misfits - a place where you don’t have to be a home-owner or a high-achiever or a straight white macho man… An atmosphere, as Patti Smith once yearned, where everything’s allowed. Tonight we don’t moan about how unfree we are. Tonight we celebrate what freedom we have and explore the edges of that freedom, how far we can push it and how tingly those edges feel.
